How can I get involved?

You can:

1. Host a Poster Party - contact us for tips and or for our involvement.

2. Invite Beth to give a two-hour presentation in which she shows her book and then guides participants through the process of dressing the figures on two bookmarks. The bookmarks can be kept as souvenirs. We hope that this will stimulate enthusiasm to work on a poster.

3. Package and sell posters which can be completed with the aid of our detailed directions under the Poster Guidelines.

4. Package bookmark kits.

5. Sell packaged bookmarks kits. See Bookmarks.

6. Sell finished bookmarks.

7. Help raise funds for Facilitator's Kits.

8. Manage and rent out a Facilitator's Kit.

9. Organize and run Poster Parties.

10. Raise funds for a workshop of African women completing the posters and selling them.

11. If you can't set aside an eight hour block of time to work on a poster, consider getting a group of friends together for a 2-3 hour session once a month. At the first meeting you could each pay $20 for the posters and that would cover that expense. You could agree on an appropriate contribution for subsequent meetings and donate that to the your favorite charity.

12. Once you have done #11 and completed one poster each, continue to meet regularly once a month or once a week to work on more posters. These could be sold or auctioned off at a special function to raise money for the community group of your choice.
